React/ Elixir Developer

Full Stack Elixir Engineer Position Summary: Our partner, a cloud-based software platform designed to optimize veterinary practice management is looking to add a full-stack engineer to their development team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining the company's patient care platform. This will include working closely with internal team members to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet users' needs. If you're passionate about utilizing cutting-edge technology that redefines user engagement, this position is for you Experience and Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field/experience 5 years of experience in full-stack development (React and Elixir) Previous experience working with single-page applications (as a plus) Skills and Strengths: React Elixir GraphQL RESTful APIs Single Page Applications PostgreSQL Google Cloud Platform Kubernetes Git SDLC Unit Test Troubleshooting/Bug fixing Documentation Primary Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance platforms. Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React. Design and implement REST APIs using Elixir to enhance platform functionality. Execute unit tests for both front-end and back-end components of software applications. Develop and optimize GraphQL queries from backend components to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data from various sources. Develop, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, ensuring scalability and performance of applications. Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough testing to ensure software reliability and maintainability. Document technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and development processes as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices and proactively suggest improvements to enhance product quality and development processes.
