The purpose of this position includes the operation of a multi-line phone, assisting with scheduling of nursing staff, monitoring of security, operating a computer, scheduling of beauty salon appointments, and administrative duties as assigned.St. Ann's Community Offers:Pay range - $15.50 - $19.65/wk.Part-time hours (20-24hrs/wk.)Medical, Dental, and Vision plans available403(b) Retirement PlanDoordash, Discounted RTS Bus Passes available, and many more perks!Job Description:Operates quickly and professionally a multi-line phone.Welcomes residents, families, and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.Places calls for specified persons with restricted phones.Contacts persons carrying pagers as necessary and/or requested.Operates a paging system and two-way radio to locate personnel, announce fire alerts, and medical emergencies.Performs all receptionist duties, including directing visitors to residents, handling mail and packages, and answering questions from the public, residents, and staff with tact, discretion, and good judgment.Updates all resident files in the computer and all front desk manuals weekly.Acts as an information center for residents.Assists residents in any way possible, such as providing resources, encouragement, and facilitating emergency assistance.Serves as liaison between residents and other departments.Carries the responsibility of informing necessary persons when any of the many alarms in the reception area should sound.Creates and maintains an informational "concierge" book to help residents with services available within the community.Observes traffic in the waiting area and reports possible problems to the appropriate authority.Logs office supplies needed, creates, and forwards requisition for needed supplies.Relays all messages received during and after office hours.Processes delivery of packages, plants, and other materials accepted.Maintains activity sign-up list as designated by Resident Relations Supervisor.Writes work requests for residents when requested and gives them to the Facilities Staff.Maintains all telephone and emergency contact lists.Performs administrative support duties to the Resident Relations Supervisor, including typing, calendar creation, flyer creation, using the computer, memos, sorting and processing delivery of mail, making copies, and using the fax machine for residents and staff, and assisting in the training of new operators.Performs other duties as assigned by the Resident Relations Supervisor.Candidate Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Two-year college or technical school preferred, six months related experience and/or training in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be competent with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Publisher.Join us in Caring for the Most Important People on Earth.The employment policy of St. Ann's Community is to provide equal opportunity to all persons.
