GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as an internal organizational development consultant for various divisions within the company. Consulting services include formal needs assessments, establishing objective performance outcome goals and measures, providing tailored education, training, or development solutions toward desired performance outcomes and partnering with management to ensure performance has been improved and sustained.
Partners with management in applying a systematic approach to analyzing, improving and managing performance through application of appropriate and varied interventions.
Improves organizational performance by meeting with management regularly to establish and maintain effective partnerships, developing performance models aligned with corporate strategic direction and business goals, determining performance gaps and identifying performance needs, assessing effectiveness of work environments and processes, designing and coordinating or implementing strategies for performance improvement and determining and applying measurement methods for assessing effectiveness of performance improvement strategies.
Researches, develops and facilitates training programs in leadership and professional curriculums for employees and managers at all levels of the company.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in organizational and/or leadership development or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must be certified to create, teach and implement process improvement, total quality management applications, psychological and behavioral assessment instruments, performance management processes and models, management coaching processes and instructional design and adult learning theory.
Significant expertise in facilitating adult learning and group dynamics.
In-depth formal assessment processes, consulting services and measurement practices.
Outstanding interpersonal skills.
Possess a thorough understanding of current human resources law and practice.
