As part of the EcoStruxure Plant Competency Center (ESXCC), this individual will be responsible for delivering support and consultancy services in order to help the growth of Industrial Automation solution (EcoStruxure Plant) Business in order to exceed growth of EcoStruxure.
The ESxCC Regional Consultant will collaborate with the country organizations during the opportunity pre-sales and project execution phases.
The Consultant's value-add is to assist the country to ensure that EcoStruxure systems are specified, correctly proposed, designed, developed and commissioned to a high level of quality that meets the customer's requirements.
The ESxCC Consultant will strive to maintain an exceptionally high level of technical expertise in one or more disciplines of the EcoStruxure domain and to broaden their expertise across multiple disciplines.
Two main mission of the position are: a.
To support to boost the adoption of new offers/ solution in the countries so they countries can be much more autonomous with that solution; b.
And finally, to support countries to boost the business growth in Industrial Automation solution.
Responsibilities: • Boost adoption of new offers/ solution/ technology in Industrial Automation solution (EcoStruxure Plant) and finally to contribute in Boosting business growth in the countries: o Pre-sales: Implementing "customer pain point centric" approach by working closely with Schneider country organization in order to have direct interaction with customer (end user, EPC, Process OEM, OEM, System Integrators) to identify customer's requirement, deliver consultancy service (by bringing domain knowledge and solution experience) and finally propose the most effective solution/architecture; o Pre-sales: Be more entrepreneurs to take some initiative and action plan to contribute in 2 main missions: boost the adoption of new, key offers (such as ProLeiT, EAE, Aveva integration, Advisors, IIOT) and finally to boost the business growth of Industrial Automation business in the country; o Ensure the local technical interface through our regional teams, have better collaboration and involvement with country organization/ key stake holders (Strategic Account Executive, key account managers, hub leaders, Industry VP, segment competency center); o Pilot execution support: Provide knowledge and experience transfer through the execution of critical/ strategic projects (pilot project), mentoring and coaching Schneider local resources to help them to be adopted with those new offers/ solutions, distribute application notes and cascade success stories from others to implement best practices; o Assist the execution of the key client projects (direct and indirect); o Actively contributing in innovation program in order to create additional values of Schneider full portfolio to answer some specific customer requirement in targeted segment in order to make huge differentiators between Schneider compared with competitors; • Developing Industry Leaders (Strategic Account and or Alliance Partner): o Build relationship and trust to Industry Leaders (End user, Process OEM, Alliance partner) by having consistent interaction and promoting our EcoStruxure solution to answer their typical pain points/ requirement o Ensure Schneider acceptance (Schneider as part of vendor list) for new projects with Industry Leader.
o Detect new opportunities and competitive gaps (escalate to improve our segment solution/ architecture) o Coordinate and collaborate with country organization stake holders, regional consultant to build/ develop this Industry leader (information exchange and guidance) Qualifications: • Experience on designing, engineering and commissioning Industrial automation systems with a solid system integrator experience (mandatory to have) • Solid process knowledge and project experience in CPG (Consumer Package Goods)/ WWW/ MMM (mandatory to have) and other segment such as Semiconductor/ transportation/ automotive (nice to have) • Communication skills and experience to understand the end user needs and to design systems to exceed their expectations.
• Master English (mandatory to have) and Spanish (nice to have).
• Solid experience of Modern Engineering tool with special characteristic such as asset centric model, single-line engineering, single system application, system orchestration.
• Solid experience of Distributed Control System (DCS) concept and implementation.
(nice to have) • Solid experience of software integration specially with Aveva Integration (Aveva System Platform, Aveva Batch Management, Aveva Historian) and excel assembling software bricks to match a customer requirement.
(nice to have) • Be on the leading technical edge of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) or OT (operational technology) and IT (Information technology) converge and Schneider Electric EcoStruxure solutions.
• Mastering the details and interrelationships between system components and sharing what you have mastered with others.
(nice to have) • Enjoy the creativity and accomplishment of extending the capabilities of systems you design and you desire to see that knowledge recognized and shared with the rest of the organization.
(nice to have) • Take pride in being a part of a highly technical team where each team member is well respected by their peers.
