The Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team's mission is to enable and mature Alphabet's extended workforce operations, and mitigate and prevent risk.
The team manages end-to-end oversight of Google's Extended (Contingent) Workforce.
The xWS team is responsible for the strategy, governance, and operations across the Temporary, Vendor, and Contractor space.
Our team assists Google managers with engaging with the contingent workforce, providing training, standards, and guidelines to increase business value and minimize Google's risk.
We provide processes, tools, know-how, data, and insights to support Googlers through the lifecycle of contingent workforce engagements.
In this role, you will work with our clients and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve an extended workforce that has the right labor type, is in the right worksite, and is effectively governed.
**Responsibilities**:
Manage complex programs, identify and implement process improvements for our sites across Brazil - based operations, and exercise business and operational excellence to drive short-term and long-term objectives.
Work with our internal clients to define a global extended workforce plan and strategy (i.e., temporary workers, independent contractors,third-party service delivery, and other forms of non-permanent labor).
Advise our internal clients regarding different workforce models, providing the right type of workforce, best location, and appropriate engagement model to meet their needs.
Manage complex cross-functional programs, demonstrate excellent project and/or program management, and keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
Develop stakeholder partnerships with Google teams to ensure a robust understanding of the extended Workforce ecosystem across Google.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in vendor management and/or an operations role.
Experience with the extended workforce in Brazil, vendor operations, and program management.
Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in executing, consulting, and delivering advisory services with extended workforces and vendor management.
Experience in program management and ability to execute large, complex programs, drive change, and work in a global team.
Ability to build effective, constructive relationships across the business and work with accountability and integrity.
Ability to effectively engage with leadership, initiate discussions about complex topics, and reach agreement.
