The Regional Director, People and Culture holds a pivotal position driving business performance by supporting multiple cross-functional Operational Companies within the region.
Operating in a hybrid structure where each Operating Company has its own People and Culture leader, the Regional Director, People and Culture reports to the global Vontier Chief People Officer and focuses on optimizing regional performance by collaborating with OpCo leaders and leveraging HR expertise to address cross-business challenges and opportunities.
This role will work in alignment with Corporate People and Culture, Centers of Excellence (COE's), and OpCo People and Culture Leaders to support regional teams.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, driving People initiatives that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.Additionally, this role takes responsibility for leading the country and region with the leadership team, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business goals at the highest level.
Moreover, this leader ensures all People metrics are aggregated to the regional level, aligning them with local and global standards, and takes ownership of regional HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).What You Will DoDrive regional business performance by collaborating with OpCo leaders and aligning HR strategies with business goals.Oversee talent management, including acquisition, development, and succession planning.Ensure effective performance management systems are in place regionally.Manage complex employee relations and ensure compliance with local labor laws.Lead regional change management efforts, supporting transitions and transformations.Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusivity.Monitor and improve regional HR metrics and KPIs.Align regional HR practices with global standards and company-wide initiatives.Provide strategic HR leadership as part of the senior People and Culture team.Who You AreBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.Minimum of 10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, within global or regional capacity.Strong understanding of regional business dynamics and market trends, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changing business needs.Proven track record of implementing HR strategies that have contributed to business success in complex, hybrid organizations.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.Strong understanding of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, and training.Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic business environment.Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.MUST be located in one of the following and able to travel throughout the region.Sao Paulo, BrazilBuenos Aires, ArgentinaSantiago, ChileMonterrey, MexicoWho Is VontierVontier (NYSE: VNT) is a global industrial technology company uniting productivity, automation and multi-energy technologies to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving, more connected mobility ecosystem.
