An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Regional Service Manager to join our Service division in the Southeast Region of the US. Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main office located in Westford, Massachusetts. You would be joining a North American team of around 100 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the entire US and key territories in Canada. THE ROLE: Working as part of our service delivery team, you will manage and be directly responsible for a team of Field Service Engineers (FSEs) who provide customer service within an assigned region. Reporting to the Field Service Manager or equivalent, you will be responsible for the performance of a regional team of FSEs, ensuring service is delivered at the world-class standard Peak is known for. Your main job functions will include: Providing a high level of service and technical advice for Peak customers, OEMs, distributors, and internal staff. Mentor, develop, and manage FSEs in your region. Monitoring and managing FSE utilization, time reporting, and costs. Liaise with Service Sales regarding service contract opportunities. Continually enhance and develop knowledge and understanding of the complete product range for you and your team. Monitor FSE performance in your region, identifying training requirements where necessary and ensuring the team is current on all assigned training courses. Manage repeat visits, analyze root causes, identify issues, and minimize recurring excursions. Serve as point of contact for and develop good working relationships with counterparts at OEM partners, district service managers, etc. Manage development and training schedules for new and existing Field Service Engineers. Oversee the FSE team's daily functions, ensuring timely responses to service inquiries, adherence to policies and SOPs, and accuracy of all field service reports (FSRs). Responsible for performance development and objective setting for FSEs. Manage in-field audits of FSEs activities, including van stock maintenance, company vehicle condition, etc. THE CANDIDATE: Experience managing diverse teams. Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Quick to learn new skills. Ability to mentor and motivate others. Good conflict management skills. Strong practical skills and a methodical approach to resolving problems. Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interface comfortably and effectively internally and externally at all levels. Ability to comply with company and customer health and safety requirements. Analytical mindset. Management experience.
