Summary: We're searching for experienced Senior test automation engineers to join our teams. At times, achieving full automation becomes challenging due to the optimal scope, leading to the need for manual testing. Understanding how to navigate such trade-offs requires expertise in various testing and validation aspects. Additionally, determining whether a specific function should undergo testing at the complete integration level or if domain-level tests suffice is crucial.
Your Profile:
5+ years of experience in Python and CAPL or C
Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Electrical or Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, and have test automation experience.
Have a strong interest in the automotive industry.
Documented development of Automated Tests and test frameworks.
Linux toolchain (bash, git, Gerrit, Jenkins)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Responsibilities:
Carefully evaluate the test scope against the level of automation feasible for each test.
Determine optimal scope considering trade-offs that may necessitate manual testing.
Utilize experience in various testing and validation aspects to navigate trade-offs effectively.
Assess whether specific functions should be tested at the complete integration level or if domain-level tests are sufficient.
Embrace a continuous integration (CI) approach for fully automated and unsupervised test execution.
Ensure support for specific configuration, logging, and visualization features in line with CI requirements.
Collaborate with test automation engineers in software download, manual testing, and test automation.
Analyze results from automation test scope to derive meaningful insights.
Troubleshoot test environment and failed test cases to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Verify fault reports and contribute to the resolution process.
Visualize and report results effectively for comprehensive test coverage.
