Our clients include notable names such as Adobe, MasterCard, UPS, Bristol University, Stanford University, and Amnesty International.Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for managing Time.ly's global compliance program related to international sanctions, security, privacy, and accessibility laws and regulations. Your tasks will include reviewing and updating internal policies and procedures, conducting third-party assessments, and providing employee training. You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding our compliance practices and help Time.ly obtain and maintain relevant certifications to ensure continued compliance with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage projects to ensure the company complies with applicable regulatory requirements, including liaising with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.Review and update risk assessments, internal policies and procedures to ensure they reflect the company's current risks and mitigation efforts.Conduct third-party assessments to verify compliance with global regulations.Develop and implement employee training programs on compliance matters.Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate our compliance practices and ensure alignment.Assist Time.ly to obtain and maintain relevant certifications.Stay updated with global regulatory matters, particularly in anti-corruption, international sanctions, security, privacy, and accessibility.Ensure all company practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.Support the compliance team's overall initiatives.RequirementsLaw degree from a recognized institution.An international LLM degree is an asset.5-8 years of overall professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years experience with global regulatory matters, particularly global privacy laws.Previous experience in project management and a keen interest in technology and innovation are valuable assets.Fluent in English (native or bilingual proficiency).Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.Physically located in Brazil.What We OfferRemote work from home.Flexible work hours.Competitive remuneration.Challenging projects and the opportunity to work with a diverse team.A highly collaborative environment for developing new ideas and features.Position DetailsLocation: Brazil / RemoteDuration: Full-time (40 hours a week)Employment Type: Independent contractor / Pessoa Jurídica (PJ)How to ApplyIf you meet the qualifications and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to Time.ly's global compliance efforts, please apply via LinkedIn.
