About the Role: We are seeking an individual who possesses strong problem-solving skills and boasts a robust background in utilizing and comprehending the Sabre GDS platform, particularly in relation to flights.
The responsibilities will involve working on our Reservations Desk team where you will play a crucial role in managing member reservations and bookings.
These will not only be limited to flights but also include hotels, restaurants, and experiences.
You will collaborate with internal colleagues and external providers to handle the process from start to finish and ensure seamless travel experiences.
Success in this role hinges on a comprehensive grasp of the Essentialist brand and systems, and how they integrate with the Sabre GDS system.
The primary objective will be to ensure accurate ticketing of all flights within the Sabre GDS and error-free completion of both flights and other types of reservations.
Responsibilities: Collaboration and Teamwork: Foster a collaborative work environment by actively engaging with internal teams to share information, address challenges, and support overall departmental objectives.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient internal reservation process.
Ticket and handle flight reservations through the Sabre GDS – be able to action and assist with all travel-related service requests including but not limited to availability, fare quotation, ticket issuance, voluntary and involuntary cancellations/changes, seat assignment, baggage, and all other flight booking concerns Reservation Management: Handle the end-to-end process of making bookings on behalf of members, this includes (but is not limited to) flights, hotels, restaurants, experiences, transfers and concierge services.
Qualifications: Experience with Sabre GDS – have a full and complete understanding how to use this, along with specific knowledge of booking, pricing, and ticketing flights while using commission agreements.
Extensive knowledge of Sabre codes and using these to price and ticket flights Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required Native or bilingual English required to communicate with our team Excellent geographic and airline knowledge Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Solutions-oriented, positive mindset, team player Able to work in a constantly changing environment Impeccable attention to detail Strong understanding of luxury and what our brand is about *An additional language is beneficial but not required.
