In 1978, the first Supermac's restaurant opened in Ballinasloe, County Galway, marking the beginning of a journey that has seen over 100 restaurants established across Ireland. As we celebrate our 45th year in operation, our vision for the next 45 years is to expand Supermac's both domestically and internationally, with a focus on physical stores in Asia, Africa, and North America.
To realize this vision, we've launched the IBESOM program, aimed at identifying, recruiting, and training experienced international candidates who will eventually lead our international business. As part of the IBESOM program, candidates will gain comprehensive experience across all aspects of Supermac's operations, including distribution and supply chain, menu and food science, store operations, finance, and HR functions.
What are we looking for?
2 years of experience as a RESTAURANT MANAGER in a high-volume RESTAURANT setting. (Fast food is preferable)
Advanced proficiency in English speaking is required, as the entire process is conducted in English and candidates must communicate fluently.
Valid passport.
Availability to relocate to Ireland.

JOB PURPOSE:
Candidates in the IBESOM program will receive hands-on experience in all aspects of Supermac's operations, with a particular emphasis on their expertise in the fast-food industry. They will provide overall leadership to stores, setting goals and objectives to drive business performance, and directly supervising store personnel to ensure each person contributes to the store's success. IBESOMs will play a critical role in our expansion into international markets, with the autonomy to lead specific location operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Develops Assistant and Trainee managers for self-sufficiency in driving high sales and profits.
Leads international market entry strategies and execution plans as needed.
Addresses requests from various head office departments.
Delivers presentations to key stakeholders upon request.
Manages recruitment, selection, training, and HR plans.
Provides international market analysis and feasibility reports when required.
Engages in community initiatives to foster business and goodwill.
Handles employee relations and significant customer complaints directly.
Prepares detailed business plans for international market entry when needed.
Plans and prioritizes effectively.
Operates within legal guidelines.
Adapts to new procedures and standards as directed.
Conducts timely in-house appraisals leading to personnel development plans.
Maintains professionalism, especially in public settings.
Refers media inquiries to the Area Manager/Marketing Director.
Identifies customer profiles and targets the market accordingly.
Maintains flexibility in working hours, including weekends and nights.
Achieves set targets for food costs, labor costs, customer count, and quality scores.
