We reached profitability in 2020, reaching 10 million happy customers and over a billion dollars of sales in 2023.This RoleThe Retail Insights Researcher is responsible for investigating the retail store environments in which PayJoy operates, to understand how it works and provide new competitive and differentiated commercial strategies.ResponsibilitiesCollect market information through on-site testing (face-to-face visits to partner stores) and face-to-face surveys.Understand the market of consumers and competitors, identify consumption habits, purchasing preferences, income levels, and access to financial services. Study consumer behaviors and attitudes and write up predictions for future sales trends.Monitor competitors to identify their marketing strategies, product offerings, and prices.Analyze the data to transform it into reports that identify unexplored, neglected, or inadequately addressed opportunities, to develop new strategies with the Go to market team such as campaigns, more efficient communication channels, and tracking the results obtained.RequirementsExperience in research, marketing, or a related field.Excellent people and communication skills, as you will spend almost all of your time visiting stores and talking to customers.Ability to understand, analyze, present, and explain initiatives and their results.Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile.
