In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our retention strategy and leveraging data-driven insights to deliver impactful, long-term value to our business. Who You Are? You are a self-driven strategist with a passion for solving complex retention challenges, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and motivated by data-driven success. You bring a balance of creative and analytical thinking, with a focus on delivering personalized, high-impact retention strategies that build lasting customer loyalty. Your curiosity drives you to continuously seek new insights, and you possess a deep understanding of autobrush's customer journey. As a vital contributor to our brand's growth, you will uphold our standards of excellence, using data and insights to create meaningful retention strategies that inspire loyalty and drive long-term value. What You'll Do: Retention Strategy: Own the development and execution of customer retention strategies designed to maximize lifetime value and foster long-term engagement. You'll build proactive initiatives that turn one-time buyers into loyal advocates. Churn Reduction: You'll dig into the data and uncover trends to develop action plans that reduce churn and drive customer retention. It's not just about reacting to churn, but anticipating it before it happens. Customer Segmentation & Insights: Develop and utilize customer segmentation models to tailor retention campaigns to different audience groups. You'll uncover actionable insights that drive personalized engagement and ensure we're always speaking the right language to the right customer. Lifecycle Campaigns: Develop and execute retention-focused lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and other channels. You'll craft high-impact messaging that keeps our customers engaged at every stage of their journey. Data & Analytics: Analyze retention metrics and customer behavior data to continuously refine strategies. Use KPIs like repeat purchase rate, churn rate, and lifetime value to measure success and course-correct when necessary. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in retention initiatives and provide feedback to improve the overall customer journey. A/B Testing & Optimization: You're not afraid to test. Run A/B tests on retention strategies and campaigns, ensuring we're constantly learning, iterating, and improving. Performance Reporting: Regularly report on retention performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership. Your reports will help drive decisions that make a measurable impact on our brand's growth. Necessary Skills & Attributes for Success: Data-driven: You're driven by data and possess a deep understanding of retention metrics, customer segmentation, and lifecycle analysis. You know how to turn insights into actionable strategies that improve customer loyalty. Proactive Problem Solver : You anticipate retention challenges before they arise, using a combination of creative thinking and data analysis to develop solutions that drive customer engagement and reduce churn. Strong Campaign Execution: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ensuring that retention campaigns are flawlessly executed across multiple channels, with a focus on timeliness and effectiveness. Expert in Marketing Tools: Familiarity with key retention platforms (Sendlane, Attentive, Lifetime and PostPilot and customer data tools. You know how to leverage these resources to deliver personalized experiences that resonate with customers. Industry Knowledge: You stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends in retention marketing and consumer behavior, constantly seeking new opportunities to refine and optimize strategies. Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in retention marketing, and customer lifecycle management, preferably at an in-house D2C brand, with a proven track record of enhancing customer loyalty and reducing churn Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience with A/B testing, performance tracking, and campaign optimization to drive continuous improvement. Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously. Strong understanding of customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and lifecycle marketing strategies, with experience running successful multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications). Hands-on experience with retention platforms such as Sendlane, Attentive, or other CRM tools, and proficiency in utilizing customer data platforms (CDPs) to personalize retention efforts. Proven track record of reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value (LTV) through data-driven retention strategies. What Makes Us Special We give a damn We care. We are slightly obsessive.
