Retirement Director The Retirement Director is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the sponsor's Pension Program in Brazil;Responsible for accounting coordination to comply with accounting standards in Brazil (IAS19) and US (US GAAP);Responsible for legally representing the entity and the interests of the sponsors in the administration of the plans;Responsible for the administration and financial management of the plans in the allocation, supervision and monitoring of resources and risk management;Responsible for monitoring administrative activities and budget, in accordance with the guidelines presented by the Deliberative Council and sponsors;Hiring of Service Providers;RFP and Due Diligence Process;Payments and Budget monitoring;Analyze Actuarial statements, relating to the end of the fiscal year;Analyze Costing Plan;Analyze Actuarial Technical Note;Work with the actuary on DPAP - Liability Duration and Pricing Adjustment and contribution and benefit payment flows used to define the liability duration and federal public securities linked to price indexes used to calculate the pricing adjustment (DPAP);Formalization of the validation of the hypotheses used in the actuarial assessment, including a Technical Study of Adequacy of Actuarial Hypotheses and validation of the sponsor's salary growth hypothesis, when applicable;Analyze Benefits Plan and PGA (Administrative Management Program) Balance Sheets;Analyze Consolidated Balance Sheet, comparative with the previous year;Work with the auditor to have the Independent auditor's report on the Financial Statements;Preparation of the budget, by benefits plan;Awareness of the Deliberative Council regarding the biannual statement of the Fiscal Council, approving any necessary measures;Responsible for Regulatory Supervision;Approve all the payments related to the administration and benefits payment;Present to the other Directors and Deliberative Council and Fiscal all the information that need to be approved by law and any other subject that should be discussed;Maintain these standards.Qualifications: 10+ Years experience;Seasoned manager with extensive Pension Program in Brazil knowledge and expertise;Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel;Self-motivated and detail oriented;Proactive leadership and motivational skills;Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills;Proven influencing and relationship management skills;Fluent Portuguese;Advanced English.Education: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.Job Family Group: Human Resources
