Job Description
Provide technical and operational support to Project during Tender, Proposal and Fabrication Phase with regards to welding & NDT processes for Linepipe, MLP pipes, WOL, Ni alloys, SS alloys, Forgings, closing Spools, induction bending, jumpers and Structural.
Technical focal point for welding and materials subjects (technical and operational) to Project, CLIENT and SUPPLIER representatives.
Review Client documentation/specifications and international standards.
Review project documentation generated during proposal phase and generate project specific documentation.
Provide onsite fabrication support during qualifications (factory and field), coordinating SUPPLIER and managing the CLIENT/SUPPLIER interface.
You are meant for this job if:
Bachelor of Materials, Metallurgical, Mechanical or Welding Engineering.
Advanced English.
Experience with Welding and NDT of rigid submerged pipeline projects including submerged equipment.
Certification as Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI/SCWI or CSWIP 3.1/3.2), Welding Engineering (IIW or TWI), Nace CIP-II, NDT L2 or L3 (DPI, MPI, UT, XR).
