Role OverviewAs the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be working and reporting closely with headquarters based in China while managing the compliance team in Brazil. You are responsible for overseeing and managing the risk & compliance in all areas, such as policies and their implementation, guiding all company departments regarding Compliance procedures and monitoring market trends in order to support NovaDAX innovative solutions.
ResponsibilitiesLead the Risk and Compliance team at the B.U. in Brazil, reporting directly to headquarters in China;Responsible for preparing, executing and monitoring the Compliance Program, its policies and procedures, ensuring the company's operation in accordance with the necessary laws and regulations;Interface with other departments of the organization and stakeholders regarding Compliance & Risk procedures;Provide guidance on the annual strategic plan and other OKRs on Compliance-related topics, identifying any risks and opportunities, especially in the feasibility of products and services offered by NovaDAX;Periodically prepare reports and guidelines for the board;Manage AML and CFT routines;Guide responses to Official Letters and other requests from regulatory bodies;Conduct responses to incidents and any investigations in competent areas;Coordinate training programs with the team;Monitor internal and external audits;Dissemination of the culture of risk management and internal controls through training and development of materials for training other areas;Meet the demands of Regulatory Bodies, ensuring timely service with quality (SUSEP, CVM, ANBIMA, ANS and BACEN);Monitor market trends, in order to guarantee compliance and the necessary framework of the organization.
Requirements+5 years of experience in a similar role in the financial/fintech industry;Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Management or other related fields. MBA/Master degree is preferred;English proficiency;Knowledge of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing laws and regulations;Experience in the financial crypto assets industry is a plus;Effective communication skills;Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment;An effective and relatable "culture of compliance" mentality;Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and project management skills.
