Risk Governance and Regulatory Risk – Director
Are you risk aware? Do you have proven experience on regulatory reporting, interactions with regulators and senior stakeholders, and management of risk governance?
If so, we are looking for a director of risk governance and regulatory risk for:
Manage regulatory deliverables and materials (review & challenge), maintaining all regulatory interaction information in global regulatory risk systems, liaising with Regulatory Affairs to ensure alignment in regulatory interactions and stakeholder engagement Interaction as well align with Americas Risk Governance and Reg Risk team.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures, serving as subject matter expert for endorsing policies related to risk management and control, overseeing risk frameworks and documentation, including design and maintenance of the risk management framework.
Design and execute cross-risk assessments and the develop and maintenance process of Terms of Reference and Authorities documentation.
Develop and oversight Risk Governance Minimum Standards, ensuring alignment of agenda topics with both regulatory requirements as well as open commitments and regulatory expectations.
Prepare annual topics and agenda, aligned with regulatory calendar, as well as escalation protocols development and maintenance, risk authorities and alignment with group governance.
Your team
You'll be working with the Chief Risk Officer Latin America and the Caribbean team based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We're responsible for serving as subject matter expert of risk management and control, overseeing risk frameworks for UBS areas.
Your expertise
+10 years of relevant experience in risk management.
Proven track record in developing and implementing risk governance framework and policies.
Extensive experience managing regulatory deliverables and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Deep understanding of risk management principles, practices, and methodologies.
Experience in regulatory requirements, including Basel II and Central Bank of Brazil risk-related regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and assess their impact on the organization.
Fluent in Portuguese and English.
