Overview:
The position is a Consumer Risk Infrastructure Specialist that will assist the Risk Infrastructure Manager in creating, testing, implementing and monitoring the business/policy rules approved by the Local Risk teams as well as from Compliance and Fraud strategies for the entire IO.
The position will work closely with the Consumer Risk Transformation (CRT) system and also Neurotech system.
**Responsibilities**:
- Understand business and policy rules requirements and ensure be in compliance with Governance Policies and Procedures approved for CRT/Neurotech prior to configure in decision engine tools.
- Challenge current business process, risk strategy in proposing enhancements to codes, and process where relevant in order to mitigate rework of dealer, credit analysts or the use of domestic solutions.
- Monitoring Production System with a focus on fix finds and ensure quality of post implementation release.
- Testing new and potential strategies in the decision engine tools.
Qualifications:
**Must have**:
- Education level: College Degree Preferred
- Fluency and proficiency in English required.
Additional foreign languages would be beneficial.
- Facility in understanding business and operational requirement to configure in Decision Engine Tool into an appropriate rules format
- Ability to plan and organize workload to achieve desired priorities and objectives
- Ability to make quality decisions to develop solutions that will achieve the desired results
- Ability to run some queries in SQL / SAS to solve complex problems in optimized way.
- Previous Experience in program languages (Examples: Java, VBA, Python, R, etc).
**Nice to have**:
- Knowledge of or work experience with a business analytics tool such as SAS or similar for validating development work
- Experience with analyzing, designing and configuring business rules in decision engine systems, such as FICO Blaze Adviser (DM) or Decision Designer from Neurotech.
- Ability to travel from time to time as needed.
