Position Summary
Responsible for greeting RV guest, helping them find the appropriate RV space to camp in, let the guests know what services are available, and being the face of Mt Bachelor for our new RV guest and ambassador for our RV community. Use of loader or plow truck to remove snow from RV lanes or parking lot as needed.
- Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities- Assist RV Guest Park in free RV space.-
- Checking RV reservations and helping RV guest to find their reserved space.-
- Keeping people from parking in reserved if not the occupant.-
- Collecting fees.-
- Filling out RV pass.-
- Logging RV camping.-
- Removing heavy snow- Secondary Function- Setting up RV parking structure. (Cones and ropes or other).-
- Taking down RV parking structure. (Cones and ropes or other).-
- Maintaining RV parking structure. (Cones and ropes or other).-
- Communicating with Public Safety to resolve compliance issues.-
- Communicating with snow removal as it may pertain to the RV parking.-
- Open and closing of West village parking gate-
- Open and closing of Sunrise parking gate-
- Open and closing of SXL parking gate-
- Use loader or plow truck to maintain snow loading in RV parking.-
- Any other duties as assign.- Job Scope- The RV Parking Attendant is responsible for maintaining functioning RV parking areas. Hours are late afternoon to late evening.-
- Drive vehicles as needed on Mt. Bachelor property and up/down to Bend to keep work schedule and execute RV parking lot operations.-
- Using equipment to remove snow from RV lanes and parking lot as needed.- Interpersonal Contacts- First contact with guests as they arrive at Mt. Bachelor. RV Parking Attendant has interactions with guests, Public Safety, snow removal and other departments. RV Parking Attendants should possess the ability to relate to, and communicate with, guests and other employees and should have good mountain knowledge to answer guest questions. Radio communication with other departments as needed.- Specific Job Skills-
- License/Certifications: Current and valid driver's license needed.
Physical Capabilities: This is an outside position that requires good physical condition and ability to be outside in all weather conditions.
Additional: Must have excellent guest service skills.
- Education/Related Experience-
Minimum education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum time in related position: Resort experience and/or experience exposed to inclement weather is preferred.
