The Shorebase Safety Tech will report to the HSE Coordinator and will be responsible to support activities related to work safety, aiming to ensure conditions that eliminate or minimize the risk of occupational accidents, observing compliance with all pertinent legislation.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The Shorebase Safety Tech may:
- Analyze the methods and work processes and to identify the risk factors of occupational accidents, occupational diseases and the presence of aggressive environmental agents to the worker, proposing their elimination and / or their control;
- Cooperate with the activities of the environment, guiding the treatment and disposal of industrial waste, encouraging and raising awareness of the importance of the worker;
- Guide the activities carried out by outsourced companies regarding the work safety and hygiene procedures foreseen in the legislation or service contracts;
- Elaborate and submit HSE related EOM - End of Month Reports as requested;
- Compile information from Behavioral Audits and Supervisor - VCP from rigs and send it to the Customer;
- Select qualified suppliers for QSMS products and services;
- Control the validity and quality of the Individual Protection Equipment, as well as facilitate testing process of new items;
- Conduct safety integration training, as required by NR-34, for newly admitted and / or retired employees;
- Perform electronic filing and document management of the Integrated Management System (SGI);
- Conduct periodic inspections on safety equipment;
- Plan and deliver mandatory training, attending legal requirements, GEMS and Client's demands;
- Participate and advise the meetings of the CIPA, guiding the preparation of the Risk Map and ensuring the legal precepts;
- Forward purchase PPE and Safety related items requests and assist in the process steps according to demands;
- Conduct a Daily Safety Dialogue;
- Keep the incident score placard updated;
- Maintain PPE stock and register of PPE issuance for each employee according to NR-06;
- To evaluate the cases of accidents at work, facilitating issuance of Incident Investigation Report via EHS Insight
- Perform HSE weekend duty when required;
- Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs
- Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications / Qualificações:
**Basic**:
- At least 18 years of age
- Technical High School in Safety with a Brazilian Labor Ministry License;
- Previous experience of at least 05 years in this position
- Experience with Petrobras System
- Intermediate English
- Computer skills.
**Preferred**:
- Engineering bachelor in course
- Trainings related to this area
- Drilling Industry work experience.
- Experience with PowerBI
