Sales Executive Maritime Route India / Intra Latam Job Overview Identify, develop and secure Ocean Freight business within a specific defined tradelane (import and export) with focus on outdoor/on-site sales activities.
Monitors and penetrates the market to acquire new Ocean Freight business within the assigned geographical area (beyond branch).
Build up attractive customer portfolio within the define tradelane & Measured against defined outdoor sales KPI's, leading to volume and profitable Ocean Freight growth.
What will be your challenges?
Drive the SME volume growth for the Ocean Freight products on a specific defined tradelane.
Coordinate local tender and spot rates.
Plan and execute sales visits to both existing and prospective customers Manage the pipeline in various phases (lead, prospect, negotiation, offer and contract) Enter data in CRM as stipulated in the corporate CRM SME guidelines Manage outdoor opportunity pipeline (actual data and stages, right size) Account ownership for outdoor sales customers and corresponding development of business Build up an internal and external relevant network Conduct regular portfolio performance review meetings to identify improvement areas and to launch corrective as required Form professional and appropriate relationships with decision makers Provide feedback on potential process improvements Keep up to date with local market trends Negotiate contract, pricing and terms with customers Actively creating sales leads for overseas controlled business and hand over identified leads to other BUs Support marketing campaigns by visiting target customers Coordination with customer service, e.g.
on quotations and booking follow-ups and business handover What you need to succeed?
Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration or similar degree Minimum of 5 years experience in the Freight Forwarding segment and in sales Ocean roles.
Advanced English skills.
Knowledge in logistics and routes Teamwork: Be a team with the same objective and win together Integrity: do what you say, be honest and play fair Customer focus: taking customers further and challenging boundaries.
Oriented to details Negotiation and persuasion It is a plus an intermediate Spanish level.
