Together as one team, we are Here to move.Sales Executive Maritime Route India / Intra LatamJob OverviewIdentify, develop and secure Ocean Freight business within a specific defined tradelane (import and export) with focus on outdoor/on-site sales activities.
Monitors and penetrates the market to acquire new Ocean Freight business within the assigned geographical area (beyond branch).
Build up attractive customer portfolio within the define tradelane & Measured against defined outdoor sales KPI's, leading to volume and profitable Ocean Freight growth.What will be your challenges?Drive the SME volume growth for the Ocean Freight products on a specific defined tradelane.Coordinate local tender and spot rates.Plan and execute sales visits to both existing and prospective customersManage the pipeline in various phases (lead, prospect, negotiation, offer and contract)Enter data in CRM as stipulated in the corporate CRM SME guidelinesManage outdoor opportunity pipeline (actual data and stages, right size)Account ownership for outdoor sales customers and corresponding development of businessBuild up an internal and external relevant networkConduct regular portfolio performance review meetings to identify improvement areas and to launch corrective as requiredForm professional and appropriate relationships with decision makersProvide feedback on potential process improvementsKeep up to date with local market trendsNegotiate contract, pricing and terms with customersActively creating sales leads for overseas controlled business and hand over identified leads to other BUsSupport marketing campaigns by visiting target customersCoordination with customer service, e.g.
on quotations and booking follow-ups and business handoverWhat you need to succeed?Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration or similar degreeMinimum of 5 years experience in the Freight Forwarding segment and in sales Ocean roles.Advanced English skills.Knowledge in logistics and routesTeamwork: Be a team with the same objective and win togetherIntegrity: do what you say, be honest and play fairCustomer focus: taking customers further and challenging boundaries.Oriented to detailsNegotiation and persuasionIt is a plus an intermediate Spanish level.
