- Present and sell construction products and services to current and potential clients
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific goals and design the number of contacts to be made
- Develop consumption forecasts for current clients and create a pipeline with new opportunities
- Follow up on new leads and references resulting from field activity
- Follow up on client tests along with the technical team
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other assigned accounts
- Present new products and capture opportunities through client contacts
- Maintain contact with supplier partners and expand the product portfolio
- Transfer and coordinate new products for manufacturing at local plants
- Proactively respond to customer questions and requests regarding technical information and applications
- Work with the Innovation team to ensure results align with market needs and share information with internal departments until product launch
- Support the Market Development and Innovation teams to formulate and execute market development plans for new product launches
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
- Develop and maintain sales materials and up-to-date product knowledge
- Establish and maintain business relationships with current and potential clients
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contracted services
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-ups
- Identify and resolve customer complaints
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activities, closures, and follow-up
- Coordinate the company team to complete the work necessary to close sales
- Develop and implement special sales activities for inventory reduction
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, fairs, etc.
- Assist with follow-up for payment collection
- Assist in coordinating goods shipments and service scheduling
