Job Description: The Sales Training Manager plays a key role in equipping the sales team with the knowledge, tools, and training they need to meet and exceed goals.
This individual is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs and success strategies that drive overall sales performance and professional development.
The Sales Training Manager collaborates closely with Performance & engagement Manager LATAM, and other departments to ensure alignment between sales goals and company objectives, creating a high-performing, success-driven sales organization.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Training & Development: Live and breathe the Discover Sales Vision and speak the Discover Sales language.
Helping to create, continuously refine and deliver training content to achieve sales excellence, product knowledge and successful client engagement strategies in line with LATAM market needs.
Oversee and manage the onboarding process and usage of the Discover Excellence Training Academy for new hires in LATAM to ensure they quickly become productive members of the team.
Facilitate workshops, webinars, and other training initiatives to help the sales team stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape.
Work collaboratively with the learning and development team on a global calendar of training sessions, creating content and advising on cultural and market needs of the LATAM market.
Sales Success: Define and implement success training metrics, goals, and KPIs for sales teams, ensuring these are aligned with company objectives.
Monitor training impact and success, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and improvement plans when necessary.
Provide coordination and account management support to Discover clients across LATAM, with a primary focus on sales execution, client relations and coaching to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Sales Strategy & Alignment: Collaborate with sales leadership to align training programs and success initiatives with overall sales strategies and market conditions.
Identify gaps in the sales training process and recommend improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Coaching & Mentorship: Provide coaching to sales team members as required to improve their skills in areas such as prospecting, negotiation, objection handling, and closing.
Create a positive learning environment that encourages open communication, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Act as a mentor to sales team members, helping them develop clear career paths and set personal development goals.
Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain a system for tracking training completion, and progress toward goals.
Prepare and present regular reports to leadership on the effectiveness of training programs and the impact on sales performance.
Use sales performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and continuously optimise training initiatives.
Qualifications: Proven experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales management, with a strong track record of enhancing team performance.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire sales teams.
Experience designing and delivering effective training programs, both in-person and virtually.
Strong mentoring capabilities, with a focus on developing team potential and driving success.
Proficiency with CRM software and sales enablement tools.
Bachelor's degree in learning and development, Business, or related field (preferred).
Based in SAO, BR Advanced/Bilingual level required: Portuguese, English and Spanish Preferred Skills: Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth industry.
Sales coaching certifications or relevant professional development credentials.
Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
