Salesforce Development Lead 12 month remote contract ASAP start Pacific timezone Looking for candidates based in Mexico, Brazil or Argentina etc. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Development/ Technical Lead to join our client. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of Salesforce development experience and 2 years in a lead role. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the Salesforce development team, resolving bottlenecks, handling code reviews, offering technical support to product owners, administrators, and fellow developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. Key Responsibilities: Guide and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, helping to resolve technical challenges and ensuring best practices are followed in coding, testing, and deployment. Take a lead role in the design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure that the code produced is of high quality, adheres to Salesforce best practices, and is free from bugs and performance issues. Help developers improve the quality of their code through feedback and guidance. Identify and remove any development bottlenecks, providing solutions or optimizations to keep the project on track and maintain a smooth workflow within the development team. Work closely with product owners, administrators, and other business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure that Salesforce applications are aligned with business goals. Manage and prioritize development tasks in line with project timelines and business objectives. Ensure that Salesforce solutions are delivered on time and meet or exceed business requirements. Ensure that the code follows Salesforce's security guidelines, performance standards, and governance limits. Work to maintain a high level of code quality across the team. Qualifications: 7 years of experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Components, etc.). At least 2 years of experience in a Salesforce development lead or technical leadership role. Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, and integrating third-party systems with Salesforce. Hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture and best practices for large-scale implementations. Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Certifications Minimum Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, nice to have PD II and Application Architect.
