Job DescriptionResponsible for product and brand portfolio management, including understanding market profile, needs, and trends with the objective to secure proper brand and product availability to meet market needs and in accordance with Continental strategy for PLT (Passenger and Light Truck Tires) business unit in the SAM region.Create Business Plans for new products along with Sales and Controlling and follow up the approval process.Gather and provide product requirements to R&D in order to guarantee the closest performance to the expected.Support R&D in the development process.Support Plant in product industrialization.Ensure local production of maximum number of articles possible along with Global Tire Sourcing and Operations.Initiate local product introduction approval process.Monitor product portfolio sales performance vs approved business plan.Provide the benchmarking team with competitors' products and information.Feed Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales areas with product information (presentations, data, etc.).Secure appropriate market coverage.Secure imported OEM's tires available in the portfolio.Responsible for SAM Product Road Map.Support local brand strategy/definition by segment and distribution channel.Ensure product portfolio is aligned with brand strategy.Support monitoring of Continental brands positioning versus competitors.Support overall brand management (pricing, coverage, profitability, etc.).Request product performance indicators from Customer Service and R&D.Gather product acceptance feedback from sales.Identify performance gaps and address corrective action (new product development or current product improvement).Represent SAM region on the PLT Product Planning Team.Monitor market-specific regulations or requirements (e.g., governmental performance labeling).Additional InformationAvailability for domestic and international travel.Ready to drive with Continental?
