**Work description**
Implementation and support of foundational layer (Platform) Components of a large and complex SAP landscape, following established standards and guidelines.
Member of a global team.
Understanding Technical and Customer business objectives and operating in an enterprise wide environment.
Provide consulting advice, where necessary, on implementing solutions using both SAP and company developed best practices.
Work closely with both experienced IT staff and have the ability to develop less experienced staff in SAP.
**Specifics tasks & responsibilities**
This role includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Install/Upgrade and Configure NetWeaver/HANA.
- Ability to support Multi-server NetWeaver/HANA implementations, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Setup and implementation of SSO, Kerberos and HTTPS.
- Interaction with vendor (SAP).
- Setup alerts and probes (embedded and external - e.g.
SAP Focused Run, Solution Manager).
- Keep system documentation evergreen with new components and other updates
- Ability to troubleshoot and to provide recommendations for improvements (e.g.
Netweaver ABAP/Java, HANA).
- Analyze and resolve performance issues in the system(s)
- General troubleshooting (Level 2 and 3) on any of the named platforms.
- Execute DR and Cyber Recovery tests
- Availability eventually for on-call over the weekends
**Technical Skills**
A minimum of 10 years strong technical skills in implementation and support of SAP ECC, SAP NetWeaver ABAP/Java systems, HANA/Oracle database and S/4 HANA
Windows Server/UNIX/Linux administration experience
Three or more full-lifecycle implementations of SAP
Change Management experience
IT infrastructure experience
SAP Basis certified is a plus
Some experience in Agile methodology
**Education**
A bachelor's degree is required in IT related area.
