Group IT Application designs, builds and deploys Business Area solutions and applications.This position is part of the Opera Services organization.The Business Solution Architect responsibility is to ensure the success of the OPERA SAP Core Model project by providing a functional and technical drive to solution components during and after the SAP Core Model rollouts across Imerys Business Areas.The Business Solution Architect's prime responsibility is to direct solution design and build, maintain a high level of IT expertise and manage the resulting maintenance and evolution cycles for SAP Core Model.The Business Solution Architect is in charge of managing the solution definition and maintenance on his/her domain.JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS:Human dimension:The role reports directly to the Financial Business Solutions ManagerKey interfaces, stakeholders and relationships:IT Competency Centers, Business Solution Architects, Rollout teams, Business Process Owners, Group Master Data & Process director, Functional Heads and Direct reports, Process experts, External providers (e.g.
Consulting companies, Software editors, Technology & Tools for Automation…).KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The main missions of the Business Solution Architect are to:SAP Core Model Design and Build:Follow the SAP Core Model methodology from legal entity assessment to user acceptance testingThis includes the responsibility of application activities related to business requirements, analysis, solution design leading configuration (for CR and liaising with Opera Factory) and development (liaising with Dev.
Factory), testing, documentation, training and acceptanceWork closely with his/her counterpart in the IT consulting companiesSAP Core Model Rollout and Improvement:Ensure close relationship with SAP Core Model & Wave teams for deployments across Imerys Business Areas to ensure knowledge transfer and standard compliance with OPERA rollout methodologyEnsure that Change Requests are properly understood and approved by Business Process Owners before any configuration and/or developmentEnsure that the Business Requirements are effectively addressed through maximal and optimal standard configurationPromote the SAP Core Model Methodology across IT organizationKey to the success of this role is the on-going link and close cooperation with key SAP Core Model players like IT Application streams, Business Process Owners, IT Competency Centers and other Stakeholders involved in the design, rollout and life of SAP Core Model.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Level of education/qualifications normally required:Master degree in Information System, Master in Management degreeSpecific work experience:5+ years of experience in SAP implementation for Controlling and Finance.

An understanding of interface design to external systems would be beneficial.Have a good knowledge and understanding of application architecture.Be familiar with Fiori applications and S/4 Hana functionalities of version 2020 and aboveAbility to lead specific studies / assignments with internal and/or external resources and functions.Skills (setup and utilization) on SAP related to Industrial Controlling:Define related master data (e.g.
Material Master Accounting/Costing data) and good understanding of Manufacturing Master data (e.g.
