Description Important Information Location: Brazil Job Mode: CLT Work Mode: Work from home Job Summary This SDET professional will be part of a newly created quality team for the client, which is seeking to incorporate the concept of quality assurance throughout the software development process.
This person will contribute to several quality fronts, involving the preparation of test plans, automation of test scenarios, identification and resolution of bugs and alignment with the other developers on the team to adopt best practices.
In addition, he/she will be required to report his/her results periodically to the team and team leaders.
Responsibilities and Duties Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for our ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python-based applications Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
Conduct thorough functional, integration, and regression testing.
Perform performance, security, and usability testing; Analyze test results and identify defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues; Propose innovative testing approaches and tools to improve test efficiency and effectiveness; Stay up-to-date with testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Essential Skills Proven experience as a SDET with a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and practices; Hands-on experience with testing ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js, Python-based and Salesforce applications ; ; Experience with Microservices and Infrastructure as Code/config management tools; Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cypress or Playwright with JS; Familiarity with JavaScript or Python programming languages; Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies; Experience with prompt engineering (ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot) is a plus.
