The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for Client Onboarding, account opening, closing and maintenance process under Custody Business.The overall objective of this role is to receive and analyze client's documentation, register investors at local regulators and open, close and maintain accounts related to foreign investors in Brazil.Responsibilities:Receive and analyze client's documentation and instructions via SWIFTMonitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirementsCreate metrics and present them in specific forumsPerform sanctions screening and analyze potential hitsEscalate processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solutionDesign and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadershipAssist with control activitiesEnsure processes adhere to audit and control policiesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:3-5 years of relevant experienceFundamental understanding of Brazilian Capital Markets and regulatory policiesProven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFluent in English (Spanish is a plus)B3 PQO Certification or equivalentEducation:Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economy, or FinanceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
