We are looking for a Security Advisor who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, assets, and operations at the Jadar project site.
This role involves supervising security activities, managing security contractors, and overseeing the implementation of security systems and procedures across the site.
This is a great opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced security professional to contribute to a major project in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to the Principal Advisor Security and Business Resilience, and working in a collaborative team within the HSES department, you will be:
- Protecting people and assets, conducting risk assessments, and managing security-related incidents
- Overseeing the operation of CCTV, access control systems, and other technological security solutions
- Collaborating with police and emergency services as needed
- Creating and reviewing security protocols to ensure compliance and effectiveness
- Supervising the security contractor's team and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies like government and law enforcement
- Assisting in the delivery of security training and raising awareness about emergency procedures
- Responding to incidents and assisting in the execution of emergency management plans
**What you'll bring**
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A degree in a security or safety related field is desirable and a background in law enforcement, military or private security is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of principles of security & risk management and active IS&T literacy.
- Intermediate oral, written and active-listening skills in English language.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in security at industrial sites
- Experience in working with large guard forces is recommended
- Experience in security and safety investigations, incident management and risk management is desirable
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment.
