Security Operations Engineer

What's the opportunity?We are seeking a highly skilled specialist in defensive security, specifically in application layer security and management of a Web Application Firewall (WAF), to join our Blue Team. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of cloud security, SecOps, and application layer security.What will I be doingManaging application layer security by administering the WAF and its configuration.Collaborating in the administration of other defensive security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, among others.Managing observability of the WAF by monitoring and analyzing generated events and alerts.Working collaboratively with other security teams to identify and mitigate risks.Identifying areas for improvement in information security and recommend appropriate solutions.What skills do I needPrevious experience in managing and configuring a WAF.Experience with public clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.Knowledge of implementing and managing defensive security tools.Ability to analyze and resolve complex security problems.Knowledge of network security and security operations.Written and spoken English
