Responsibilities: Lead teams in activities in research seed processing, including seed preparation for planting, chemical treatment, drying, threshing, cold room storage and inventory.Align with internal customers the delivery schedule of the seed produced in Toledo in order to meet Corteva's projects.Lead the development and automation of the research seed processing area.Keep the seed processing equipment and facilities organized and in good condition.Perform administrative tasks related to estimation of demand and management of resources and control these resources within an expected timeline by effectively working on a multi-departmental group.Interact with other working groups (internal and external) to establish and maintain a working network.Development and application of the company's quality management protocols and safety procedures, as well as the KPIs.Engage in the Safety Program, meeting the legal requirements and internal policies of the company and also motivate colleagues in this direction.Qualifications: BS degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Biology or related areas.
Postgraduate studies at the master's and doctoral level will be a differential.MBA in Lean or Six Sigma or Process Management will be a plus.Strong teamwork and group leadership skills.Advanced English skills.Previous experience in seed processing or leading other projects will be a plus.Skills and talent to deal with tight deadlines and fast data turnaround.Good knowledge of automation, computer science and the use of software.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to solve problems and conflicts.Driver license category B or higher.Available for traveling.Live in Toledo/PR or Cascavel/PR.
