Brunel is currently looking for aSenior Accountant Analystto work with one of our main clients in the Oil and Gas sector at their Rio de Janeiro office.
Responsabilities:Review of accounts payable and receivable entries
Analyze billing statements from Operator, translate to proper and constant controls for entry making purposes
Full charge in IFRS16 review and analyze, translate to proper and constant controls for entry making purposes
Managing fixed assets and inventory on behalf of Finance department, concerning both the Company and its interest in Joint Ventures
Control of expenses and reimbursement of secondees, full charge in the issuance of corresponding At Cost Certificate, support in the issuance of Secondee Local Content Certificate
Coordinate in Joint Venture auditing, support in Company's financial statement audit
Subject matter expert in accounting/financial reporting related issues
Support in ECD, ECF, tax assessments, audits and inspections
Coordinate in Fincom meetings or other communications in similar nature with Operator or partners
Support in management information/reporting purposes, also to attend to any other tasks arranged by the Finance manager temporarily
Coordinate in supporting other departments and attending to Headquarter requests
Represent Company in IBP or other associations in case neededRequirements:Fluent English
Work experience in accounting
Desirable experience in tax management
Knowledge of CPC / IFRS / BRGAAP
Bachelor Accounting degree
Previous experience from E&P company is an advantage
Desirable experience with MXM ERP system
Good MS Office skills.
