Senior Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant for our Jundiaí - SP facility. In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of Finance & Accounting South America. This role will assist in the preparation of financial statements in a timely manner, VAT tax and Fiscal requirements, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Import and Export, BS reconciliations, and month-end closings. You will support the implementation of internal controls, process improvements, and compliance with local and corporate guidelines and policies.

Your Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial statements, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings in a timely manner.
Local support for SSC team - accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, and set controls and checks.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations - local and corporate - general ledger accounts and control of tax and fiscal requirements.
Ensure adherence to the Internal Control System, review and improve procedures.
Ensure lease agreements and documentation support are recorded and calculated based on IFR16 rules.
Control local risk management including insurance coverage and claims/litigations.
Support on preparing tax requirements such as Income tax return, SPEED accounting, transfer pricing, VAT federal, state, and municipal taxes and fiscal declarations to tax authorities working with external tax consulting.
Support local management regarding accounting and finance information for decision making.
Cash flow monitoring, control the power of bank signatories, cross-border payments, relationship with banks.
Support on internal and external auditing and tax inspections.
Actively collaborate with FP&A team on analyzing and providing an accurate financial statement.
Your Profile:
Expertise in Brazilian GAAP and IFRS rules, including a comprehensive understanding of taxes mechanism in Brazil.
VAT taxes (municipal, state, and federal) and Fiscal requirements.
Income tax, LALUR, ECD, ECF, Transfer Price.
Internal and external auditing, Tax inspections, and Internal Control Systems.
Bottom line approach driven by results.
