What you will do: Running our financial accounting and all related tasks such as billing and payment.
Review and enhance the automation of our current invoicing and payment procedures, streamlining processes and implementing efficient systems.
Ensure seamless stakeholder management with our external accounting partners, especially in Brazil, Mexico and future locations, in order to receive all relevant information for the monthly closing on time.
Support the development of activities and strategies to ensure deal and audit readiness, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, implementing robust controls, and improving financial reporting processes.
Be the first point of contact for accounting and taxation topics to our internal stakeholders.
Take care of the Brazilian payroll and onboarding process together with outsourced provider Workplace: This is a remote opportunity in Brazil with a strong preference to be close enough to São Paulo once per month to meet with the team in person.

Who you are: You hold a top university degree in business administration with a focus on finance/controlling/accounting You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting and controlling, preferably with prior experience in auditing at a top accounting firm.
You possess a strong knowledge of IFRS and Brazilian GAAP You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
Knowledge of ERP systems implementation (e.g.
Netsuite, Xero, etc) is a plus.
You are fluent in English and native in Brazilian Portuguese.
Spanish is a big plus as we support other LATAM markets.
