Performing and reviewing monthly TP calculations (Non-Life & Life – IFRS17)Performing and reviewing quarterly SAM valuations and returnsCompletion of annual valuations as well as the QRTs and QRRsPerforming and reviewing experience investigationsCompleting quarterly CBR returns as well as preparing for the OMNI CBR returnsAssisting group finance with completion of the half-year and annual Group SAM returnsPerforming the annual ORSA process (including associated modelling and reviewing of risk registers, relevant policies, risk appetite statements, standard formula validations, etc)Negotiating the annual Non-Life catastrophe reinsurance treaty renewalAnalysing and reporting on claims and complaints in line with the PPR requirements as well as proposing improvements to data / systems to improve data quality / availability and processesAssessment of regulatory requirements around climate risk as well as liquidity risk and developing the group approachProvide input into legislative requirements to ensure overall company complianceShare price valuationsReviewing and ensuring policies comply with the GOI requirementsReview and approval of monthly dashboard reportsAd-hoc projects and returns (including for the regulators)Working with the outsourced HAFs to implement recommended changes / improvements to systems / processes / methods.Performing investigations to set non-life indexation and initial claim value levelsQualifications and Experience:Considerable progress with actuarial examinations (Completed at least A100 & A200, ideally also A311)3 - 4 years' actuarial experience within a Life / Non-Life insurer (with experience in two or more of the following areas:SAMIFRS17ORSAValuations (Life / Non-Life) and AOS / EV calculationsSkills and Competencies:Strong technical actuarial skills with a solid understanding of actuarial software and systems.Strong detail orientation coupled with the ability to see the "big picture"Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Motivated self-starter who shows initiative, is proactive, looks for ways to improveAble to complete tasks within agreed timelines and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
