SAS is going through an exciting transformation, and leading our LATAM Alliance Strategy is an essential part of that transformation.As a Senior Alliance Specialist, you will be leading direct and indirect sales strategies and tap into our customers' buying behavior to maximize collective business value.
You will establish and prioritize responsibilities and objectives related to both team goals and corporate goals.
As a principal business partner to sales and other functional executives, you will employ strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills to be a positive force for change.
This is an outward-facing role, partnering with internal and external stakeholder interaction.
This includes leveraging existing relationships and building new ones, including those within partner organizations.As a Senior Alliance Specialist, you will:Lead and implement a cohesive strategy to grow our partnership focused on expanding mindshare, growing revenue and driving innovation, through direct and indirect sales strategies.
Lead the LATAM GSI Alliances efforts, develop and execute plans that will lead to high-value go-to-market partner plans with an emphasis on net-new SAS revenue generation.Own the GSI sales execution strategy, develop and implement a partnership activation business plan.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to co-develop incremental and partner-led growth plans in specific areas.Partner with business unit spearheads to drive alignment with Alliance management teams, with an emphasis on driving net-new revenue scale with GSI Partners.Oversee partner enablement and business development, as well as provide direct support for GSI partners, SAS Sales and SAS Alliances.Collaborate with other members of the global alliance and leadership team to develop and execute repeatable programs that will drive revenue for SAS.Coordinate SAS Sales and GSI Client Account Teams to ensure open and transparent communication and collaboration on opportunities.Develop and facilitate relationships with all Partner Alliance Managers and SAS stakeholders and fully participate in the execution of joint business plans and initiatives.Contribute to the joint business plans of the region and align to global initiatives with SAS Alliance Managers and Partners.Track and report results to ensure that objectives are met.Develop and execute regular communications plans to collaborate with SAS Alliance Leadership to track and measure objectives, adjust and align as objectives change, and communicate to SAS stakeholders those changes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or other related field.At least 8 years of marketing, sales, and business partner relationship development within the software application industry.At least 2 years of alliance development/management in the software industry.Experience managing a large systems integrator.Sales mindset.An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.Preferred QualificationsExperience partnering with and building relationships within GSIs.Excellent knowledge of alliance techniques, business partner relationship development strategies.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated team building and planning skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Public speaking experience.Ability to travel as business requirements dictate.Benefits HighlightsFlexible working hours / Hybrid working model.Top class health and dental insurance, wellness program, language education support.Your well-being matters, and that's why we support all dimensions of your well-being by offering programs that reduce stress and distractions to help you remain healthy and productive.Diverse and InclusiveAt SAS, it's not about fitting into our culture – it's about adding to it.
