**Role Overview**:
The Senior Legal Analyst (Generalist) will be responsible for managing and advising on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to labor, commercial, contract, and compliance law, with a focus on the container cargo transportation sector.
This professional will ensure compliance with global, federal, and local regulations, mitigate legal risks, and provide comprehensive legal guidance to the company's departments, while adhering to Brazilian labor laws (CLT).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to international, federal, and local laws, covering a broad spectrum of legal areas including labor law, contract law, compliance, and corporate regulations, with a special focus on CLT regulations.
- Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts related to various areas such as container shipping, service agreements, and employment contracts, ensuring they comply with Brazilian law.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess legal risks in operations, contracts, employment matters, and corporate practices, and develop strategies to proactively mitigate these risks, in line with CLT and other relevant regulations.
- Legal Advisory: Provide legal support and consultancy across multiple departments (operations, logistics, procurement, HR, and compliance), offering guidance on labor issues, commercial disputes, and compliance with Brazilian regulations.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage legal disputes and claims related to various areas of law, including labor disputes, contractual issues, and corporate litigation, coordinating with external counsel when necessary.
- Policy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of corporate policies ensuring legal compliance across diverse areas such as employment law, data protection, and anti-corruption practices.
- General Legal Support: Offer general legal support in areas such as corporate law, labor law, intellectual property, compliance, and regulatory affairs.
- Training: Conduct training sessions and provide resources on a wide range of legal topics relevant to the company, including labor law (CLT), contracts, and compliance issues.
**Requirements**:
- Law degree with valid OAB registration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in generalist legal roles, with exposure to multiple legal areas such as labor law, corporate law, contract law, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of Brazilian labor laws (CLT), international shipping regulations, and general commercial laws.
- Proven experience in contract drafting and negotiation across various legal domains.
- Excellent ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to different departments.
- Experience managing a broad range of legal disputes, including labor and corporate matters.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic, multi-faceted legal guidance.
- Advanced English is mandatory.
- Spanish is a plus.
