Who we are looking for? We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Apex Developer to join our fully remote team at SPACE44. This role focuses on developing features for mobile devices with offline capabilities in a production environment. You will contribute to both creating new applications and enhancing existing ones using Apex, a low-code Oracle-based language. The ideal candidate is passionate about low-code development, has strong experience in Apex, and is excited about the potential to transition to React applications in the future. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining Apex applications for production environments. Collaborating with teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Creating features for mobile devices, ensuring offline capabilities are robust and reliable. Enhancing and optimizing existing Apex applications. Working on projects related to the production of vessels, providing functional solutions. Preparing for a potential transition from Apex to React applications. Conducting tests, debugging, and ensuring the performance and security of applications. Providing training and support to end-users on Apex applications. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in Apex, React, and other related technologies. Creating technical documentation for developed applications and system processes. Requirements A minimum of 5 years experience as a Software Developer A minimum of 3 years' experience in Apex development. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in designing and building mobile applications using Apex. Familiarity with Oracle databases and PL/SQL. Experience with production environments and mobile device functionalities. Knowledge of React and willingness to transition from Apex to React applications. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a distributed, international environment. Speaking Croatian would be considered an advantage.
