If you are looking for your next role to have a direct impact on the world, we have an excellent career opportunity for you to join Caterpillar's Global Construction & Infrastructure (GCI) team as a Product Marketing & Application Specialist for Rigid Frame Trucks in the Americas South region!

In this role, you will provide technical and market support for Rigid Frame Trucks & Load/Haul products across Mexico, Central and South America.
You'll work closely on product marketing & commercial strategies with our sales teams.
Additionally, you will support application and job studies, communicate product and market information to the Product Group, manage NPI process and participate in the market strategy team.

What you will do: Train the district and dealer Sales Representatives on product and application matters (product, services, application, and relevant systems or software). Professionally provide ongoing technical support to districts and dealers supporting the customers' need for detailed technical/performance/application data. Support and manage customer site assessments and production studies to help identify the best rigid frame hauling solution for their needs. Develop commercial strategies including root cause and corrective action analysis to support your region's PINS objectives for Load & Haul products. Prepare introduction plans for new products (NPI) for the Americas South regions. Build and maintain up-to-date knowledge about competitive systems and machines and promote Caterpillar value advantage to aid selling activities. Act as a mentor for less experienced employees with respect to all facets of the role. Participate on a Standing Team for market strategy development. Be the primary conduit of technical information to and from the Product Groups for Rigid Frame Trucks. What you will have: Technical Excellence: strong product and application knowledge Customer focus, Relationship Management: ability to maintain productive, long-term relationships with clients or vendors (10+ years). Effective Communications: ability to deliver clear and effective communications. Value Selling: ability to translate offerings and solutions into dollarized customer benefits Negotiation skills: ability to negotiate successfully. Basic requirements: University degree preferably in engineering, business, or marketing. English and Spanish Pre Advanced Top Candidates will also have: Mining or quarry industry expertise Previous experience of working in a multinational company and collaborating with a global team.
