This position makes important contributions to the success of multi-million dollar custom engineering materials handling projects, creating engineered products with precision and speed, building strong relationships with key internal and external customers, and executing projects to exceed expectations.Your future role:Successfully complete engineering deliverables related to electrical design, control and system integration of large, complex, customized and automated material handling systems;Work on multiple projects simultaneously, requiring strong organization and time management skills;Design PLC and HMI systems and write/modify Allen-Bradley PLC code used in the automation of industrial material handling systems;With help, develop control systems using PLC, HMI, VFD, safety relays, FANUC industrial robotics, sensors, actuators and motors;Configure control system devices (PLC, HMI, VFD, safety relays, network switches and FANUC industrial robots) with proper firmware, configuration files, programs and network settings;Create customer system documentation (user guides) and internal process instructions;Complete FANUC robot simulations as part of system validation to ensure proper robot selection for custom equipment;Participate in design reviews of electrical schematics, programs and documentation;Effective interface with customers, co-workers and suppliers to understand the full application needs and resolve queries;Ability to investigate the root cause of problems or cost reduction opportunities for quality solutions;Complete final testing and performance validation of automated systems to ensure that intended objectives are achieved;Conduct demonstrations of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) equipment; and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)Provide technical support to team members and customers;Required skills:High degree on Electrical Engineer or AutomationCAD, MS OfficeGood knowledge about: methods and calculations and sequences in equipment controls, PLC, electrical and communication components, frequency converters and operators interfacesCustomer OrientedDo your eyes light up when you read about this great opportunity?
