Along with the rest of the QA org contribute in defining and implementing QA Mentality for the Organization. You'll be a Senior QA Automation engineer that works closely with multiple teams in helping them define test plans, strategies, assist in triaging bugs and identifying patterns that might be causing those issues and create automated tests to help catch and prevent those issues. You will be able to make a difference in the quality of the product the teams are releasing.The Team You'll Work WithThe QA Organization consists of 15 QAs that work closely with our Product teams, Engineer, support, and other cross functional teams to make sure we are testing our product before our clients get to use them. This is a highly visible and critical role to help define and implement QA processes within different teams and help with manual and automation testing to test our products thoroughly and deliver with high quality.About YouStrong ability and expertise in creating automated tests in python and seleniumAbility to understand the technical needs for the teams and help them implement QA processes and implement QA mindsetActing as an owner and solving problems that are being ignoredAbility to independently identify patterns and issues that are causing friction and bugsHelp junior level team members to help them grow and learnImplementing existing QA processes and help iterate and improve on those processesMonitoring and tracking number of issues for the team(s) you'll be involved withDefining testing scope and automation strategy for the teamStrong programming expertise in one OOP language like Python, Java, JS or Go (Python is preferred)Good CI/CD knowledge and hands on experience with building and deployment tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, DockerStrong automation design patterns, with proven experience in both backend and frontend projectsStrong knowledge in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes is preferredGood knowledge in tools like Postman, Jmeter, etcRelevant work experience required - 5 yearsEducation or equivalent experience requiredAt Carta, you're not just an employee.
