Senior Backend Engineer - Brazil

We are looking for a fully remote Backend Engineer that can contribute to the development ofour web applications.

What you will do
Develop web based systems
Develop functionality for our own products, administration systems and ecommerce capabilities using modern frameworksDevelop and maintain integrations with third party systemsDevelop our APIs
Work in a team environment
You'll work with other software engineers, designers, QAs and product managersYou'll communicate your ideas and plan your workYou'll peer review your colleagues workWhat we need from you
At least 7 years of commercial experience as a software engineer or equivalentIn-depth knowledge of PHP8+Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks, preferably SymfonySolid understanding of OO programming concepts and patternsFamiliarity with version control using Git and associated workflowsExperience with TDD and unit testingA strong desire to learn and to contribute to the team's work
Other skills you might have
A degree in CS or equivalent is a plusGood understanding of HTML and CSSFamiliarity with modern JS frameworksExperience designing and building RESTful APIsKnowledge of relational databasesComfortable on the command line of *NIX machinesExperience working in cross functional teamsAn eye for user behaviour and design
