The Role
We seek an experienced, innovative, and high-output engineer to design, implement, and maintain our critical backend infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support robust backend services in Python, leveraging modern web frameworks like FastAPI.
Develop REST APIs for seamless integration with our front-end applications.
Implement automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Architect and implement AWS Lambda functions for serverless computing, with communication via SQS, persistent storage in PostgreSQL using SQLAlchemy, and object storage in S3.
Maintain and improve our automated deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver quality features at a fast pace.
Take part in an incident response on-call schedule.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with modern web frameworks like FastAPI.
Extensive experience working with AWS services, especially Lambda, SQS, RDS, and related technologies.
Experience with CI/CD practices and automated deployments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
