Senior Business System Analyst

Project DescriptionAs a part of our growing cooperation with a small and well organized US based Investment Bank we are building a team to deliver on a set of regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesRequirement gathering, system analysis, and development of functional and technical specificationsAnalyzing and improving existing data mappings and creating new mappingsUsing an ETL tool and rule engine to create transformation rules for XML and relational dataPartnering with business teams to document requirements and workflows for new developments clearlyAssisting in writing JIRA stories for workstreams as neededDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholdersDelving into complex system infrastructureWorking with development teams to ensure business needs are metMust have6+ years of proven experience in System and Business Analysis or similar roles Strong knowledge of SQL Hands-on experience in data mapping and validation Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, or similar) Comprehensive understanding of data formats: XML, JSON, CSV Strong knowledge of the SDLC Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and translating user needs into functional specifications Expertise in identifying, documenting, and validating non-functional requirements Familiarity with data exchange methods: REST, queues, and other integration mechanisms Proficiency in visualization tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io, or similar) to create comprehensive diagrams and process flows Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approachesLanguagesEnglish: C1 Advanced
