As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the component portfolio from the Small Domestic Appliances local production, in order to establish competitive supplier strategies, achieve productivity targets and support the Cost Reduction team. If you have great observation and analysis skills, a clear vision of business strategy, and can communicate and negotiate with ease, this is your chance! - Develop a local strategy aligned to the overall group strategy of category purchasing, taking into account business requirements and priorities, in line with the Electrolux Purchasing Process;
- Work in actionplan implementation, managing activities such as supplier management and development, introduction of new technologies and materials with a focus on innovation and cost reduction;
- Manage trade negotiations and contracts;
- Lead contract negotiation with major suppliers, managing and registering commercial conditions and gathering information to annual budget and revisions;
- Monitor the raw materials market's main trends, looking to define the best strategic and market positioning for the company;As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).Who you are:
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering (postgraduate degree and MBA are pluses);
- Solid experience with the purchasing area and related portfolio management;
- Experience with purchasing of high complexity and value direct materials (national and imported);
- Experience with leading meetings and representing Purchasing area before executive teams;
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing supplier resources;
- Knowledge of Incoterms;
- Knowledge of financial mathematics;
- Knowledge of industrial processes and materials planning and control;
- Advanced English (Spanish is a plus).Where you'll be:
