Senior Cloud Engineer (311)

Challenge
The Senior Cloud Engineer will manage the cloud platform, focusing on the availability, reliability, security, and performance of our client cloud-native systems, and ensuring their services continue to delight customers as they scale.
What you'll do
Automate the operation of client platform, making it more reliable, stable, secure, and scalable as its usage grows and architecture evolves;
Establish tooling and best practices for observability, infrastructure as code, and configuration management;
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and DevOps practices throughout the organization;
Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with security controls;
Help with their incident response procedures and maintain operational excellence;
Assist engineering teams with infrastructure capacity planning and executing;
Participate in the On Call rotation;
Uphold and embody our client mission, vision, and values;
Work closely with the application development team.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills
6+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions.
Strong proficiency with AWS cloud platform.
Deep understanding of observability best practices and tooling (DataDog, New Relic Or similar)
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
In-depth cloud and infrastructure security knowledge.
CI/CD tools
Nice to have
Experience with at least one programming language (Python, PHP, Java, etc);
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Migration;
Application containerization and orchestration;
Windows Application;
Relevant certifications in Cloud services.
