The Senior Consultant may perform the role of a Team Leader.
The Senior Consultant ensures high quality service and high customer satisfaction.
He/She may be involved in preparing the detailed level plan for his/her functional/technical area and will be required to assist in business development activities by providing proposal input.Essential Functions1) Engage with the customer by:Leading customer engagement/conversations in business language and identifying the requirementsAnalyzing customer business processes and SAP solution design.
Moving logically and creatively from facts to conclusionsLeading process design workshops, configuration/development and assisting customers in testing cyclesDemonstrating creativity and thought leadership, and using experience in substantiating the proposed solutions to the customerWriting specifications and working with developers where requiredMaintaining and expanding customer contact at high levels and building credible relationships with key customer personnel by consistently delivering assigned tasks on time with high qualityEstablishing self as the go-to person/"Advisor" for individual field of expertise, for both customers and colleaguesManaging customer and company expectationsParticipating in pre-sales engagements – demonstrated ability to connect with customers when discussing best practices and SAP functionality2) Provide Leadership by:Deployment of consultants in the preparation of Blueprint Documents, Specifications, Business Process Procedures, Test scenarios, End User Documentation, and User ManualsUsing appropriate implementation methodology and tools in a projectBeing capable and available for interviewing candidates for potential opportunities within the companyEssential Functions (Continued)3) Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan (release projects, knowledge transfer projects, upgrade projects).
This includes drafting the project plan for the functional/technical area (in the event he/she is leading the area), in terms of scope, deliverables, timelines and resources and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans.4) Continuously develop SAP core skills, IS-specific skills and cross-functional expertise and business knowledge based on accumulated experience.5) Invest time in the professional development of other consultants through coaching and mentoring and act as a role model through dedication to customer service, problem solving and demonstrating a high level of capability.6) Perform any additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.Required QualificationsDeep proficiency in core module of SAPLateral knowledge of all complementary modules of SAPExposure to multiple project implementationsAbility to integrate proposed solution across modules and with 3rd party systemsKnowledge and experience in the attune Implementation methodologyAt least 6 years prior work experience in a SAP consulting capacityA minimum of 4 complete project life cycles in a SAP consulting capacityExposure to the Fashion and Lifestyle Industry in a working capacity for at least 3 yearsDesired QualificationsGeneral degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualificationsFormal training/certification in core module of SAP is preferredExcellent communication skills - verbal and written.
