MISSION
Control all aspects of tasks, from initiation, throughout the process and to completion. It is important for goals to be set and reached, and for tasks to be completed in a timely manner.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Support local plant CI Manager or leader in planning and deployment of FIT Program.

Cooperate directly with plant CI Manager and others members of the management team in the plant on deployment, structures, training and implementation of FIT Program pillars and its elements.

Take part in organizing and running local LSS training sessions.

Support local CI leader in FIT Program reviews and reporting.

Support CI leaders in organizing local CI Steering Committees.

Take an active part in local benchmarking and best practices activities.

Coordinate dedicated FIT Program elements in the factory.

Lead and/or support dedicated local CI activities, for example: Suggestion Systems, 5s, Value Stream Mapping, etc. (upon request).

Promote FIT Program and its aspects within the local organization.

Deliver high quality, strong and repeatable results in terms of processes optimization and project savings.

Report on CI progress to Regional Management and Corporate CI Director.

Organize and lead Regional CI Steering Committees (recommended: once a quarter).

Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving of the OHSE and Quality department.

**Technical Lean Six Sigma Requirements (as Black Belt)**:
The role of the Continuous Improvement Expert (Senior) is to support the local CI department in delivering the agreed on benefits of a Lean Six Sigma and FIT Program to the organization. In so doing, the CI Expert (Senior) will:
Work with others to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement.

Lead improvement projects or facilitate Black and Green Belt Projects using Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodologies.

Train, coach and mentor Yellow and Green Belts on DMAIC methodology and associated process improvement techniques.

Participate in all tollgate reviews for the projects they support or lead directly.

Use and support others with knowledge of advanced Lean techniques (Kanban implementations and adjustments support, value stream mapping, etc.).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**:
Bachelor of Science or similar

**Languages**:
Fluent local language & Fluent English (spoken & written)

**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years in Black Belt projects and activities

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

**Additional training**:
Trained as a Black Belt be of additional value
